Barbarellesque: An ecdysiast theatrical experience

Love! Compound Productions: 50/50 is proud to present Barbarellesque!

Exclusively at Creative Alliance!

A live action production of the iconic sci-fi camp classic, Barbarella! More than a themed show and beyond nerdlesque, this fully scripted performance follows the film’s delightfully cheesy plot and dialogue and adds even more sexy silliness with striptease, song and dance!

Don’t take our word for it–check out what the press has to say:

“Any show which features Cherie Sweetbottom, Maria Bella, Sunny Sighed and Kay Sera – all taking turns portraying the undisputed Queen of the Galaxy – is not to be missed!”–Baltimore Post-Examiner

“It’s a really smart, sexy show and you should go!”–DC Metro Theater Arts

“I recommend you hurry, as [tickets] are going faster than a rocket headed straight to Sogo”–Tuesday Tease

Please note: We caution those with photosensitive epilepsy that strobe lighting effects will be used during the show. Theatrical smoke  will also be used; persons with allergies or respiratory ailments may wish to consider seating away from the stage.

So is this show going to be presented again in Washington or Baltimore?

Let’s have another show in DC next year. I had a lot of fun at Black Cat a few weeks ago. Come back to DC again. :)

Sadly, there are very few nightlife options for the 18 and up crowd. Plus, burlesque would be a fun opportunity for them. Having one hell of a good time don’t have to be about alcohol. I loved your performance on the 13th. I hope you have more events in the DC area. Keep up the good work.

    • Thanks! You’ll find links to each of the performer’s page on the Cast & Crew page to see when they’ll be performing in DC again. You won’t have to wait long–Maria Bella and Kay Sera will be at the Birchmere July 5 for Angie Pontani’s Burlesque-a-Pades.

My friends are still under 21. Plus, we need events close to PG County in the future. 18 years deserve to have more fun places to go. 21 and up is overrated. Keep doing a good job.
